yeah, it keeps comming on!!

i just changed the oil a thousand miles ago. and yes, i used 5 quarts.

last time it came on i shut the car off and back on and it was fine, and now. its just staying there!

why is it doing this!

pull the codes, your car is OBDI so autozone cant pull them for you.... hows the oil pressure and oil level? have you tried to rest the computer with the battery, neg off first on last.

i just want ot make sure that it doenst meen my car isnt getting oil to the right places!

the dipstick is fine and says its full, is that all that matters?

Oil pic up in your pan may be clogged...

what is the oil pressure on the guage in the dash? it goes form 0-100psi, you should be between 35-55psi at idle....preferebly 50

try to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery overnight.... take the neg cable off first then the pos, reconnect it pos cable first and neg cable last.

Low oil pressure, or low oil? Two different things, how's your pressure gauge reading?

Probably just need a new lever sender, it's on the left side (drivers) of the oil pan. It's held in by a clip DO NOT try and unbolt it, because it has a hexnut on there, but that stays, just a small clip you gotta pop off and the sender pulls right out.

the oil light that is in the dash is a low oil warning, it goes off when there is about 1 quart left in the pan, the plug on the sender may have a bad connection,
