ok, my trans is startin to go in my gt. its a t5. and yea i can just get it rebuilt, but im thinking it would be cool to have a 6-speed.... thats just an extra od gear right? if so thats good, cuz i do alot of highway right now. even if its not, it would still be bad ***. anyway... question is... if i buy a t-56. besides the transmission what else would i need to put it in my car? thanks guys.

the 6th gear is actually going to be your new 5th and its typically a .80:1 ratio, which is less than your 5th right now... and you 6th will be around .68:1 to .62:1

stock is .68:1

not worth the extra money IMHO, either go G-force or get a TKO
