88 timing belt?

Default 88 timing belt?

Anyone have a ballpark cost to change the timing belt on my 88 GT? Thanks !

U do not have a belt it's a chain. A decent chain is about 50-100 from Jegs/Summit. Labor will be 300-500 dollars unless you do it yourself

Does a chain last longer than a belt? I would presume...At what frequency should it be changed? Thanks again!

The GT had a double roller chain in it so unless you have 150k mi or more I wouldn't worry about it
