Lowering your stang will lower it 1"-2.5" depending on what springs you get.

The typical lowered mustang is 1-1.5" lower.

Some people go lower but keep in mind I have heard people that have lowered 2" or lower get rear tires rubbing their rear well when they accel hard.

Lowering springs are sold almost anywhere you can buy aftermarket mustang parts.

my car also had lowering springs on it when i got it. it will ride a little bit rougher and with my larger wheels (17"x9") i do experience a little rubbing with it at full lock, but no rubbing in the rear. I do feel that it makes the car look much better.

with 16in wheels and tires that don't belong on a truck, you will run into dragging problems before any rubbing problems. Hope you enjoy what you do. Good Luck!
