How much Boost can I push into a stock 302 5.0 with just putting the SC on..?

You CAN go 10-12, but I wouldn't do it if it needs to be driven every day. I would keep it in the 6-9 range if daily driven. IF it's daily driven, you can go with the 10-12, but I wouldn't step on it around town. Save it for the track. The absolute peak for the stock components is 124 lbs, but that's gonna blow in no time. Stick to 8-9 like I do.

I plan to buy heads + supercharger. I plan on keeping it around 5-8 pds.

Does anyone know anything about adding a SC on a 5.0 Carbed' 302? I head I need to retard timing..?

I'm running 10 PSI with no problems. But I wouldn't dare push it much higher. I'll need a few more supporting mods for that.

To intrude, let's say I wanted to play it real safe and run 5 psi on a stock motor. How much power would this produce, and would the motor still last a long time? I want reliability over maximum power. Can these motors handle 5 psi without worry?
