any cam any car, basicly your eliminating all slack and flexing, ensuring your valves do as they are told.

the way I set the valve was like this
-to adjust the intake valve turn the engine over until the exhaust valve is completely opens and its all most closed-stop adjust the intake valve with no pre load, turn it half a turn now lock it.

-to adjust the exhaust valve turn the engine over until the intake valve is completely open-stop adjust the exhaust valve with no pre load turn it half a turn, now lock it.

is this ok

its against the procedure and im %100 sure your are missing out on ponies, and your cam lobes and offsets are not sufficiently in line with your crank's, intended appropiations.

I know alot of us didnt do it right , and some noticed no noise, or performance loss,

that is because you have a hydraulic lifter that compensates for some play, but you are destroying the top end and they are somewhat quiet

its no biggie, it will not hurt the bottom end.

to help, i removed my fan with the 11mm or u can use 7/16 wrench. A 24mm socket and pipe half from my floorjack to turn crank clockwise and do one cyl at a time, and thats how i earned my muscles lol what a workout! when that intake is out, thats a GREAT time to replace that thermostat,

bottom bolt on it PITA

the entire thing sounds like a MAJOR PITA!! but ill probably do it too (h/i/c) cause it seems to be worth it.

actually its a work out !! not a major PITA, TAKES ME AN HOUR, you an hour or less, just remove then upper plenum, then lower intake manifold.

Get it out the way and never see this again[8D] TAKE YOUR FAN OFF, 11mm wrench 4 bolts, crank turned clockwise 23mm or 24mm socket on it with 1/2 ratchet is faster with pipe or large wrench on end if resistance is there, all u doing is turning crank wathching ONE CYLINDER AT A TIME, and when one valve does this, you do that[8D]

oh yeah here yall go to , when tightening lower intake manifold, dont forget to rtv all 4 corners of front and rear gaskets
