Default No idle, none at all

Ok, i finally finished putting my motor back together. i did a h/c/i swap. New injectors, new MAF, new TB and TB spacer. I removed all the smog and a/c crap also. I started it up, and it starts fast, no hesitation, but there is no idle at all. it just dies when you stop giving it gas. i just replaced the iac gasket because i thought that was it, but no better. also, a new tp sensor came with the tb. Any ideas?? I need help bad!

TPS voltage is probably off. clean or replace your IAC valve they're only like $30.

start there. check for vac leaks to.

ok, yea im sure it has some vac. leaks somewhere, i had to plug alot of holes from removing smog/ac. Ill clean the IAC valve, but it idled fine when i took it apart, so could the IAC valve still be the problem?

yes, mine idled fine before I did an H/C/I swap.

then like crap after, replaced the IAC valve, messed with the idle set screw, messed with TPS voltage, it helped.

These head cam intake swaps dont just bolt on and wha la it runs fine.
you gotta tinker with it a little

OK, i adjusted the tps voltage to .89v, i put vacuum caps on all unused holes, and cleaned the IAC with brakeclean and still no idle. I have been messing with the timing and no progress. Its really strange. When i try to start it there is nothing. It doesnt stumble or even try, and as soon as i give it a little throttle if fires right up. Im really stumped and wanted to get this thing on the road asap!

you said that you put a new TB on it. Have you adjusted the idle with the idle screw on the bottom of the TB?
