Shocking information.
so I was going to time the ole stang tonight, and I touch the dizzy, and I shock the **** outta myself.
so my question to you all is, what would make my dizzy have electricity going through it? I mean, wtf? its an insulator not a conductor!

Probably a cracked plug boot or some how the cap is cracked and electricity is getting sent through it somehow. Replace cap/rotor and wires and your problem will go away. Where exactly did you touch it?

hard to say, I palmed it. so my fingers and hand were all over it.
If its anything, I'd say plugs, cap is fairly new. I need new wires anyway, so I'll get those.
I just dont' want to test it again once I get wires, to see if that was the problem or not. guess I'll get my brother to help with that job...

I love my taylors. I just have heard more bad things about Ford Racing plug wires than I have with Taylors, so I opted for them. Oh and if you win the lawsuit send some ignition stuff my way bro!

Take your car into the garage (if you have one) and turn off all the lights (do this at night) and start your car and look under the hood.
If you have jumping sparks you can see them when completely dark.
