Some of the other 'big flexplate' block plates will work, but the lower access cover bolt holes wont' align or simply are not there.
What happened to your original?
I have a stack of them out in the shed. Junkyards have gobs of em too. Nothing rare about them. Don't panic.

Man I've had my old one sitting around for months and I think I just finally got rid of it. I'll look around and see if it's here still by chance. You might try Ebay also. I got my T-5 one on there for like 10 bucks.

Some of the later ones are made from aluminum and if warped will make contact with the weights.
You seriously don't have a major junk yard around? Not near a big city? There are millions of Crown Vics there with the engines on the ground and the parts laying in the trunk. You may need no tools at all.
