Default what can be removed?

Hey, I need some help with stripping my 89 5.0l motor down to the bare bones, by this I mean I want to remove all the emmisions related junk and anything that doesn't make my engine run Properly. I live in alberta and have no emmissions testing, I have allready removed the smog pump and capped the holes off in the back of the heads, I have also removed the a/c, and the p.s pump. i was thinking about removing the egr, all the cruise controll stuff, and anything else i can find that is not going to make the car run properly. what else can I remove?

my goal is to make the motor as light as possible, and have the least amount of crap on the motor. the motor is going into a rx7 and dont want to mess with the ballance of the car that much which is why the motor is going on a diet. I would like to get some links to threads that details what I can remove if possible. also I dont want to spend that much money cause i have all ready spent enough on the swap so things like heads are out of the question for now.

thanks alot and any help is good help.

I will post pics of my "hondaeatter" soon for you all to enjoy.

pull off all the emissions stuff, all the EFI stuff, AC, p/s pump(run a manual rack). all you need is the alt on it. dropping the EFI for a carb will save about 35lbs. Thats about it aside from alum heads. Everything else is a must have

just wondering why do you want to put a 5.0 into an rx7 you could have gotten a JDM rx7 swap with all the turbo crap and it would be a perfect fit and faster, atleast in stock form
