with the RT you can make changes/readings while the car is running. RT = real time or run time i forget.

so that little advantage makes it worth it?

i guess it makes sense but the fact that it's 220 bucks more doesn't

If you dont know how to use it its pretty much pointless and better hope it has a "reset" button

They are very complicated but I guess if your down for learning than go for it.

^ a dyno tuned chip would be a better more precise situation but yes you can tune using a tweecer....

A couple things...
A tweecer is just as good as a dyno tune, if the tuner knows how to use it.

The tweecer RT allows real time viewing, but the real advantage is the ability to datalog. Without a datalog you are stuck guessing as to what needs to be changed. Watching your AFR and timing during a WOT run is not easy.

If you don't mind taking several weeks to learn how to tune a Ford EFI computer, then the tweecer is a good option.
If you just want the car to run perfectly then drop it off at a dyno shop.
You will get pissed off, and you will have to scrap some tunes and start over.
This is part of learing how the EEC-IV works.
In the end you will understand your car much better by tuning yourself.

Please don't hesitate to ask more questions. This is a good topic for this forum.
