Default 373'S!

i know every one must ask this but how much does it cost to install a set of gears, and what else should i do if i have someone do this?

price is different for everyone, I wouldnt pay over 250 for labor for the install if it were me

I get 250 to install them, also I would have them rebuild the traction loc.

inspect the trac lok clutches and spider gears for excessive wear and function, also replace the axle bearings/seals if needed, cost varies from place to place$200-$400, have a professional do it, it requires some specialty tools. 3.73 is the best al around gear, for a 5spd i'd get 3.55's myself but to each his own... good luck

anyone know anywhere in the maryland (annapolis, baltimore, dc) area that does this kind of work, i asked good year and they wanted 450 just to install the gears and thats with me providing them, they said it would take 5 hours to do, i looked at them like they were crazy,

Just had 3.55s installed in my coupe along with a new inner pinion bearing and race. Cost was $200 total.
