5.0L (1979-1995) Mustang Technical discussions on 5.0 Liter Mustangs within. This does not include the 5.0 from the 2011 Mustang GT. That information is in the 2005-1011 section.

Next weekend, it will be done.

Default Next weekend, it will be done.

So as im sure most of you know, my car got wrecked and the person who wrecked it is paying to have it fixed, so while its in the body shop i ordered a few pieces. My car will look like this next weekend:

Cervinis "heat extractor" hood
saleen sideskirts
stock rear bumper, but the "mustang GT" will be covered up and it will be flat
ABC Cobra Front bumper
Saleen S281 wing
To top it all off, a fresh, shiney, red coat of paint with plenty of clearcoat.

Also I have 17x9 and 17x10.5 cobra R rims, riveted, polished lip, deep dish in the rear, with black inner rims and black headlight covers.

I told the guy at the body shop i wanted the ford emblem and GT emblems off the car, but he said hed have to bondo that **** and if i bumped into something it would probably crack the bondo and paint, so he said its not a good idea. Any input on this?

anyways, what do you guys think about how my car will turnout? and of course, pics when it gets back oh and its a 94.

Should look pretty nice. On the fox cars, the emblems on the sides are just double-sided tape. There are no holes to fill. Now, they could certainly be different on the 94+ cars. The Ford emblem on the deck lid does have a couple holes underneath it though. Instead of bondo, they could be welded up though.

Just spot weld the holes and grind it flat. The body man knows this. Sounds like he wants to do a half assed job if he is even considering bondo for that. Watch him.

Theres definately holes in the fenders on '94-'98. My friend had a '98.
