hey i've been browsing forums and just thought of a question.

i have never seen a pic or herad anyone talk about an 1986 mustang GT hatchback with a bodykit. It there even ones for that year? if anyone could let me know please and sorry if this question has been answered i've never seen anything on the subject.

I would like to see these pictures too. I have seen the saleen body kit, but I havn't seen anything else. I would like to see something else. Even though I think that there is a big chance it's going to turn out rice looking.

im pretty sure rear bumpers and side skirts fit from later models. i know the front bumpers wont fit, but i have seen company's sell just a lower bumper from the black trim down that i think might work.

I heard that from somebody else a while ago. I don't know if it is true or not but it sure would be nice if they did. Does anybody know if the spoilers will fit from later hatchback models on an '86

check out here.. for an 86.. i would say look at the saleen kit.. pretty sweet looking IMO.

Stock '86 GT's didnt have a body kit like '87-'93's did.

no, they didnt.. just had fog light cut outs in the front bumper. i am pretty sure he knows that.. i think he was just asking if anybody made them for a 4-eye stang.

I definately would say that the saleen body kit is pretty sweet looking and the GD2 front bumper isn't that bad looking but the rear bumper is absolutely hideous. That just looks like it belongs on a honda. I did notice that the side skirts and the rear bumpers fit a '79-'86. That is a good bit of information.
