Default O-RING OR NOT?

JUST GOT A 14PSI VORTECH, GOING ON LIL 306, WONDERING IF I SHOULD O-RING THE BLOCK OR NOT? USING STUDS AND HIGH$$ FEL PRO GASKETS. I WILL ONLY GO TO ABOUT 10PSI FOR STREET USE. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT. MAINS HAVE GIRDLE ALREADY.

O-ring will help some but it will not fix a bad tune you will find that you can and will blow a head gasket with or without o-rings get the tune right and you wont blow head gasket near as bad.I found the best thing for our motor was a drop in comp. by one full point this got me 3 years of running hell the motor blew not the head gaskets we used FelPros.wherewith the old motor I put on 3 sets of head gasket in one summer[>:]the car before had the o-ring gaskets and I also blew 2 sets of them.
