I don't know much about fords like I used to. I have been into chevys the last 7 years. I know small block chevys you can install a roller cam with a little modifying and some parts in a non roller block. As for heads, I have a set of K-code 289 heads in the shop I was thinking of putting on the engine, they have already been reworked and bigger valves put in them, I have the whole 289, but the block has a five bolt bell houseing bolt pattern. I have another 289 block, but is has gotten some rust on it real good.
Thanks for the info guys.

I do believe bobby already answered your question
bobby:
im positve u cant install that cam, it has to be a roller cam if u want to install it into a roller motoer
& he is quite correct.

With a conversion kit, you can put a 5.0 roller cam into any windsor block, 289, 302, or 351

go to a junk yard and ask them for the Valley spider and lifter keys for a 302 roller block. get some new lifters. the block will need to be drilled to accomidate the valley spider two holes, you can drill and tap them your self if you know how if not any machine chop can.
