Hey my engine is making this wierd kinda clicking noise when im driving it. i just went and got gas and it was doing it i put some gas in then started driving again and it went away till i got home then i parked it and left it on and looked under the hood to see if anything was flapping around cuz it sounds like a piece of something was maybe flapping in hte wind or when i stepped on my gas a bit it went faster. when i opened the hood it wasn't doing then it started again while i was looking i dont know does anyone have an idea what this could be?

It could be your muffler bearings, but to be sure we need more info. Describe it a little more then a clicking noise, does it sound like your volts arching, like something is hitting your motor, like your rockers not be adjusted right, or at least tell us what side of the car it's comming from.

hmm im no car buff , it sounds to be drivers side. it sorta sounds like something hitting my motor... almost like if you've ever seen on of those little things like the new axe commercial the counter thing u hit a button and it clicks take that and make it faster and even faster when i step on the gas. i dunno if thatll help

If it's comming from inside the engine, it sould be a stuck lifter or your rockers, you haven't ran it with low oil have you?

Check you serp belt. There could be a piece of it flappin around. Or better yet just remove the belt altogether and see if it goes away. Dont run it too long with out the belt cuz your water pump wont be turning, but runnin it for a few seconds wont hurt it at all.

my old car did the same exact thing ended up being a stuck lifter and eventually the engine **** the bed and leaked/smoked oil everywhere

yah you know what i think i have been running it with low or old oil i just realized.
