can someone tell me what the stock voltage is on a 86-93 mustang coil is ?
I bought a 48k coil accel to replace my stock one and don't see a hole lot of change

U won't notice a change w/ a new coil. and those accel things are junk on of them ruined my turbo saab few years back. cause detonation melted the piston.

not saying that the coil did not melt you piston , but on any turbo motor you have to watch your boost..it can casue to much heat and do the same thing..also did you change your gap on your plugs ?
anyway thanks for making me feel better about my new pistons that are going to melt.

the only thing I changed was the coil I thought the stock one was blown out. boost was stock. and I had NGK plugs from saab I paid like $8 a peice for them. it's crazy
