Thinkin ahead....Winter plans

So my car has been in the garage since last october. Currently still not completed and all i am doing is a HCI. It took me forever to get it apart with working, and my car not being at home, it was stored in my grandmothers garage. So hopefully all goes well, it should be put back together here within the next week.
I'm already thinkin ahead for what i can do to it in the winter. It cant just sit there and nothing be done to it, that would just be wrong. So i wanna do something thats not gonna be to expensive, and that i can do myself. I was thinkin maybe NOS, or interior and rims, or maybe a new front bumper/headlights and cowl hood.
Any input, other ideas, or suggestions ? thanks

how bout some suspension upgrades to help that h/c/i combo get the most power to the pavement... subframe connectors, k member, upper lower control arms, lowering springs.... or else just buy a blower... thats easier than nitrous in my opinion... NOS is a brand by the way;). Either way good luck with your project!:)

+1 on the suspension upgrades. However, since you are apparently on a budget, I would go with the bottle instead of the blower. For less than $1200, you could do a 5115 dry kit, subframes, springs, and control arms. May even be able to squeeze in some struts and shocks as well. Shop around and you can get some sweet deals!! I only have $510 in all of those parts I just listed above, minus control arms.

I'm already lowered all the way around. So i got a lil headstart on the suspension. So i need subframe connectors, k member, and upper lower control arms ?
About how much would those parts run me ? I wouldnt mind puttin some extra money into her, winters here are long, so i got about 4 or 5 months to do everything. My limit this year will prolly be around 1500.

some of it is a lil pricy... sum is cheap... like sub frame is like 100 bucks tops... control arms i think are 400ish.... sum1 correct me if im wrong... as for the K member i have never priced one.... i would think u get get a basic nitrous set up and subframes control arms k member and shocks and struts and be in the 1500 range... mayb a lil over... but diffenetly closer to 1500 more so than 2000... as long as you dont like the most expensive ****... and u do all the work yourself... anotehr thing u might want ot htink aobut is a drive train build up... g force kit new clutch gears aluminum drive shaft... stuff like that... cuz the more power u make the strong you need.... i dont kno how much u already have done tho so just saying... but yea for a good quarter mile time i woudl od the suspesion nitrous setup... depending on how u built you einge u could dip into the 12's i would think... etheir way gl and keep us posted

You don't need a k member. Most people get that to shed weight off the front end or are using it for a new motor type they're going to drop in.

Subframe connectors - $90-$130
Upper and lower control arms depends on the brand you get, but I got my adjustable uppers and weigh jacker lowers from Granatelli (Have yet to put them on so I haven't tried them out yet) for $280 off of ebay brand new.
I also got a (used) NOS dry nitrous kit with purge 2 pressure guages and fancy power delay electronics box off of ebay for $650. I would definitely suggest checking out Ebay for stuff, I've gotten GREAT deals.
