haha your bad on motors... i'm horrible on transmissions. i had a speed-o-matic 2 speed auto and blew that up then we had a family van and blew that up (hasn't ran same since)

yeah but you can find non roller 302's all day long, for under 3 bills. I don't know about tranny's though.

ORIGINAL: 91stang i'm droiling on my keyboard just reading the facts on this... CHP EDIT: but does the 427/351w have the same oil buring problems as the 347/302 have? The problem was that the oil control ring was intersected by the pin. I am not sure that the 427 would suffer the same problem. If you are on a tight budget, and want to go stroker... I suggest looking into the 393. It uses several stock Ford components. jason |

i'm on a limited budget now bt i'm trying to get an idea and make a list or something so when i do gt money i know what to do... i think a 408 would be the best choice
