MM Panhard Bar

Can someone school me on this? I have a chance to get this brand new for $125 dollars and I really want to get it if its worth it. The thing is, Im not sure if its what I want with my setup (or what its going to be) The car will be able to handle but I also want it to perform at the track... how will this affect it? Basically the panhard bar just stops your axles from moving? So, this is basically for a road racing car? how will this affect me on the street? Sorry for all the questions... Thanks.

I thought it helped stop the axle from moving side to side as well

It consists of a beam that bolts to the differential/rear axle, runs parallel to the driveshaft, and pivots at a point near the transmission output shaft. It prevents pinion angle changes (axle wide-up). When you install a torque arm in combination with a panhard bar or a watts link, they take over both functions of the Mustang's upper control arms (side-to-side axle location and prevention of pinion angle changes). Both of the stock upper control arms can be removed and discarded. Doing that gives you a 3-link rear. It exhibits almost no bind and performs much better than the stock system during extreme cornering, acceleration, and braking.

So do you think this is something I should definetly get for my street car? Im not too much of a corner carver but Im just wondering if its going to have a negative affect at the track...

^^ Thank You! Will I need anything else to run this panhard bar or just bolt it up and be done with it?

if you dont want it i do

it will help with the track as well as corners. foxs have a LOT of side to side movement in the axle, and this will eliminate that issue
