well anyways, the engine i know, is stock, wether someone changed things inside i have no clue

i'll have someone take a look at it and definitely check out those headers

how can i figure out wether it's a 347?

in my opinion, its probably stock. itsd not your moms civic, its a mustang. a real car. of coarse you going to think whoa man so fast its not stock its got NOS. Sadly i once said that about my stang. there quick cars stock. and whoever told u that drove it and said it wasnt stock, obviously never drove a mustang before. take pics of the engine bay and check out the noob section if u dont know how to post up pictures. one of us will be able to tell you exactly what is in your car just by looking at it.

Also remember a 351 is also a 5.7. Do you have a picture of the top of the motor? It's possible someone dropped a 351 into the hood. If it's a 5.0 block that's been bored and stroked, it could very well look normal from the top.

my step father who use to drag with his roadrunner said it seemed as if was bored out

i dont know what to do, i'll just try the header idea

lets say its a stock 1987 5.0 gt cobra engine....should i scrap it out or just build onto it for a while


i want to know wether it would be worth my time

and if it is bored out i'll just finish what someone started :P

it's got the whole "5.0 mustang" markings on the top

so if anything was done it's on the inside

to ans your one question... if it is infact just a stock 5.0, YES keep it and build it up... there worth it. unless u gots **** loads of money to spend on a 347 or a 351
