IMO THE MODS ARE ABOUT EVEN BUT YOUR CAR SHOULD BE QUITE A BIT LIGHTER SO I WOULD SAY YOU HAVE A SLIGHT ADVANTAGE. GOOD LUCK ! EVEN THOUGH I AM BIASED DUE TO HAVING A 95.

why are you yelling? you forget that the 89 might have 2.73 and a premium sn95 has 3.08's so once again they are about equal

you should easily beat him if you can drive, and the 3 inch exaust is costing you alot of power because it is WAYtoo big.

If you can out drive the guy youre in good shape. he weighs more and the 3:55 are an advantage. Im still pulling for the 94 though.

If, this means anything I have a 94 gt few mods not much, no overhauls just pretty well the way it came and it has 210,000 mi !!!!! 210,000 mi on it and I drive it everday 20 + mi or more and I swear it doesn't miss a beat. So by me knowing how strong they are, I have to go with the 94. But lol, I definatey wouldnt bet on this one. best of luck, let us know how this stang fight ends...........

You win if you are equal drivers. And you should have 2.5" exhaust, the 3" is hurting. Good Luck with the race.

I never measured them I just guessed cause thats what he said his had and they looked about the same. I know it has jba shorty header's, X pipe, and flomaster exhaust and he said his had bbk exhaust and header's with stock converter's. I just bought the stang 3 day's ago so im still pretty new to these stangs. I have $1800 to spend on it so what is the easiest way to get more power out of it? I am quite a bit better then him at shifting by the way. thanks alot
