Yea...well, really I built it on another stock block I had and sold my stock motor from the car. Im gonna run 150shot on it this srping. Should have more than 500 at the crank with the 150. A stock block will hold that.

How do you build up the stock motor and make it handle alot of power? (sorry probably a stupid ?)

DSS short block 3331/347 w/ girdle & forged interanls can be had for $1800-$2000, block will take 600hp, put AFR 185 heads, custom ground cam, and Edlebrock Performer intake, that'll chew up another $2500.... easy 400hp and run low 12's high 11's. Down the road spray it or s/c it and you'll be toasting. But that money will be gone faster than you think....
