Default 85-86 Weight
Anyone know how much the 85-86's weigh? I'm trying to find a good project car & weight is going to play a big role in it. I need the weight of 85-86 & 87-93 notch, lx hatch, & gt hatch.

On the title of my 86 GT hatch it say 2800 pounds. I have never had it on a scale however. Hope this helps a little.

the lightest fox was the 79....an 86 weighs about 500 pounds more....the 79 is about 2700...

but didn't the '79 come with a smaller engine? That could be why it weighed less.

on the title stuffs it says 2976lbs *dry weight* i weighed my car when i worked at Valley Freightliner with me and a 1/2 tank of gas and it weighed 3200lbs exactly. i weigh 150-160lbs so you do the math.
