Ok i am going to build a 347 stroker for my car and am going to have a shop in town do my block and i plan on buying a nice set of heads and getting a custom cam. questions are what can my t-5 stick hold cause i wanna run 400+, and also what do i all need to buy for a kit that will have longer lifespan if im buying my own heads and cam seperate, what is a nice set of heads and pretty much what other little stuff do i need to pick up for best results i dont know a whole lot about car parts and what not but just lookin for ideas.

My stroker kit came from summit. All forged, around 1400 bux.
The edelbrock victor jr. heads I have are 210cc. 2.05/1.60 valves, 60cc chambers.
These are stout heads and works good with an rpm II intake, 70mm tb, and 75mm maf, 24lb injectors, 255lph fuel pump.
Id look into a custom cam (like im bout to do).
Your tranny will go sooner or later so save up for a tko. You're gonna have to have the block machined and punched out .030 over. If you use a big cam and the heads like have, you'll have to have the pistons flycut. Mine makes 11.1 compression and is dying for some N2O.
You'll also need a dyno tune and adjustable fuel pressure reg. The computer will go crazy with the new motor. Im gonna have a custom chip burnt on a dyno foe mine. Should give me a great hp pickup. Mine will already beat a vette with 3:73 gears.[8D]
