what is a good budget coil over kit?

And when i am going around corners and hit little cracks or bumps, it feels like my rear is going to slide out. Is the suspension just bad?

Some suspension pieces I would recommend are weld in subframe connectors to stiffen up the chassis along with adjustable struts and shocks so you can adjust for street or strip/road course. To eliminate that space between the wheels Eibach makes several different springs, they have the pro-kit 1.0-1.5 inch drop which I think is the best for all round use and looks, sportline line springs which I believe is about 1.8-2.0 inch drop and the drag springs which come with a airbag in the right rear spring to help with traction. I am only using Eibach as an example but there are a lot of different companies out there like Steeda, Griggs, H&R, Maximum Motorsports and Ford Motor Co. to name a few. Some other pieces you can use would be lower control arms, strut tower brace, tubular k-member it all depends what you want to do with the car. Do you want the suspension set up for straight line driving or strictly for turning. Is this going to be a daily driven car or a race car.

It's a daily driver. Id like to get a compromise between straight line and cornering performance. Id like to get coil overs cause i got about 3.5" about the tires and if i mod the motor and lose weight i want to be able to adjust it. just need a budget kit but don't know where to look.

If you're looking to upgrade your suspension with springs and upper and lower rear control arms do the combination that I just did! I only spent $375.00 on all four springs and upper and lower control arms shipped to my door! I got the ford racing C springs and the Summit upper and lower control arms. The car is still up on jackstands right now because I've got school today and I was waiting on my dad to bring home a spring compressor last night so I can't tell you exactly how much it will lower it because it aint done. But I compared a new rear spring to one of my old rear springs side by side and the new rears were about 1 1/2 coils lower and the fronts are about 2 coils lower than stock. I can't wait to get it all done and align it (good thing I have access to an alignment machine and a lift!). Oh and the Summit Racing control arms are the same exact arms as the UPRs except the summit ones come powdercoated in either red or black and for the same price they come with the stage 8 bolts. I'll get pictures tonight as soon as I get it finished.

Yeah it's all done! It's great now, I feel completely in control, the suspension is tight and very predictable. It was worth it big time. And plus it looks a helluva lot better. I did my alignment yesterday at work and it's all out by just a hair. I'll need new plates sometime in the near feature, but it's not out enough to really worry about it.
