Default Fuel Pressure Regulator Suggestions

Thanks to everyone who helped out yesterday with suggestions on what size fuel pump to get. I decided to go with Summit Racing's 155 lph. Now, I need to get a Fuel Pressure Regulator and I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on which one to get.

Thanks.

I had a BBK and it worked perfect but I have heard about people having problems with them not being accurate n stuff. Dont forget to buy a gauge too

You have to buy a gauge when you buy a Fuel Pressure Regulator? What kind of gauge do I buy?

I forgot the brand name but it was a regular liquid filled pressure gauge... a local speed shop should have one... or summit

You don't have to -- you can still set it with a standard service type (connect, set, disconnect) or you could get an Autometer mechanical the 3 feet of braided line and hook it up to the regulator port & mount it on the cowl. Do not mount a mechanical fuel pressure gauge inside the car unless you use an isolator (metal cylinder with a diaphram and antifreeze in the other side of the line leading into the passenger compartment). You can also get electric but they're much more expensive. You can mount a mechanical on the cowl using a mounting cup or a product like the Cowl Gauge Concepts cowl panel (one gauge panel).

Also, I've used a Paxton FPR on my car for 6 years without any issues.

Aeromotive has some nice ones adjustable from 30-70psi, EFI models, and different mounting locations. Also for a guage Aeromotive makes a nice 0-100psi guage 1 1/2" diameter with white face for only $25, you can get an autometer but its gonna be $$$. Check them out @ JEGS.com Good Luck and good choice on the fuel pump!
