a/m door lock pins

RE: a/m door lock pins
I just popped one off of my 95 and the UPR version of the bullet pin is 1/4" taller. The top of the stock pin ends where the top of the bullet pin starts to curve inward.
I imagine it's going to be 1/4" taller than stock. I just measured the thread depth on the UPR bullet & it's 3/4" of threads. The stocker, I can't tell because it's hollow but it can certainly be threaded at least 3/4" and it's shorter, so that combination is going to give you a taller pin.
Hope this helps!

I think the rod is the right height and wouldn't mess around with it by bending it or anything like that. Especially if it fits with the stock pins.
I kinda like the stock style. I actually found some at a junkyard from a Lincoln Blackwood. I put them on my fox body GT. They were pretty nice -- plastic, but different. I had to run a tap through them to get them on, but that was about it.
