Ok. Im in a bit of a delema, my friends say that a 96' and below camaro or LT1 camaro, would beat me. I would go to the track, but its too far away.
Here are my mods,
89' LX hatch. 3.55 gears, 3-core radiator, underdrive pulleys,k&N replacement filter,sub frame connectors,short shifter,245 tires in back(good sticky tires),lowered 1.5", shortie headers, H-pipe w/ Hi flow cats, flowmaster 50 series w/ dumps,No A/c, running synthetic oils, distributer, wires(basic tune up).
I think ill win for the fact that LT1's are 14.0's and up.

you would loose to either becuase your rumming a distributer and you should run a DISTRIBUTOR LOL

Well, you're car doesn't seem to be any more modded than mine, and the best I've done is in the 14.5's.

Mustangs and Camaros have always been good competition for each other. If both are modded fairly equal, then 9 out of 10 times it comes down to the drivers.

Your friends will always say Camaros will beat you (they must be Chevy guys ). Let them say what they want. If you ever do make it to the track, then you can either prove them wrong ... or right [:@]

Just hope you have sense enough not to race on the streets to prove a worthless point...

the good thing about those Lt1's against you is that you, having the lightest model mustang, should be way lighter then those cars. when you go race, take your back and passenger seat out and dont eat for the whole day u are going to race.. haha. Like previously stated, it should mostly depend on the drivers but you should have a good shot at taking those guys if they have similar mods or are stock.
