one thing you better check out first though, alot of marine engines are reverse rotation, they run backwards. had a ski boat with a 351w and it ran backwards.

Default 460

ok, this isnt a "marine" engine. i hate it when people use that term. when an engine is marinized, its external stuff like intake manifolds and water pumps with brass liners and stuff like that. interally there isnt anything special. except when they make those stupid reverse rotation engines, then its just the cam and distributor gear. i built this engine myself and its built to make tons of power but there are a few simple things holding it back. like the heads and mainly the cam. hell, it might make more power than i think it does, its just that its in a jet boat and the pump wont let it spin any faster, or maybe its making the power at a lower RPM, i dont know its never been on a dyno. all i know for sure is it takes about 400hp to spin the jet pump at 5000rpm.

here are the specs
D1VE block, bored, align honed, zero decked, cryo treated and some oiling mods
.030 TRW forged domed pistons with spiro locks
Eagle floating H beam rods
stock crank ground .010/.010
D3VE heads ported by me
Lunati cam 282/290 .510/.536 (i think)
Weiand stealth intake
Holley 850 double pump
compression should be approx. 11:1

what would you guys change?

well since ford racing sell motor mounts and an oil pan and hooker sells headers for it, i would say it must.

I can confirm they will fit, lol. I built one. I did have to convert to manual brakes though, valve cover would not clear my brake booster. but there are other ways around that problem.
