im not sure but i wouldent think it would be a drive shaft or reared problem sounds like when the tranny is under load it is binding up
check your bolts on the bellhousing and clutch ajustment first then if thats ok it probably has a bad shiffting fork in the tranny itself
no expert at manuals but have had simmilar problems if you have to push hard to got to push hard to get in to gear its binding up
or its broke when somone puts a new manual in what the first thing we all do we slam them to see how it feels thats when we find out we dident put a race tranny in
and the stock ones break all the time.
hope this helps and i hope its just a allingment problem
anyone else out their that can help a felow 5.0er

What clutch do you have? I think you may have some clutch problems. If it goes in and out of gear fine when stopped I don't think it's going to be the transmission.

If it has the stock clutch cable setup, you may have slipped a little on the auto adjuster and it's not engaging the clutch fully... If the pedal seems in a little different position than normal, thats probably what happened... All gears in a manual usually don't go out at the same time, sounds like a clutch problem... Suggestion, don't force the gears, you'll screw up the shift forks...
