Default Stock Motor, Freshened, Supercharger?

hey guys, ive got a friend who is a mechanic who has been helpin me learn how to tear these 5.0's down..
after blowing a head gasket,
i took the heads off and had them worked over.. not ported or anything, but had them milled down, and checked out..
so all new gaskets from the heads up..
i have also just put in..
all new..
oil drive rod
oil pump
rod bearings
main bearings
pan gasket
clutch kit
nose cone
throw out bearing fork
motor mounts
and had the flywheel turned..
new set of hedman headers shorty equal lengths

he says the pistons and rings look good, has great compression..
the motor has 144k miles on it..
crank also looks good

would i be ok putting on a supercharger?
what should i go with?
or what else should i do now to prevent any mishaps with the supercharger?
is there anything else i can freshen up besides rings and pistons?

with the headers, and oh say a 8-9 psi supercharger, and a fenderwell cai.. would i put down atleast a mid 13?
thanks!

the heads have been milled, making your compression higher,

I wouldnt go over 6psi

Next time get the headgaskets that dont blow, they are steel and expensive and never requires retorquing and yuool be good another 9 years

You didn't re-use the old piston rings did you? Not a huge deal, but if you replaced all' the bearings then new rings would be a good idea.

But to answer your question, hell yeah put on a blower.

Blow It. And yea, you would be putting down mid 13's. Id probly replace the rest of the exhaust, just because the stock will restrict you more when you have a s/c. Plus you get the nice sound...

right now i have those hedman shorties equal lengths.. and a pair of 40s series flows..
if i replace the exhaust.. how big diameter should the pipe be?
i know there is a certain limit whereyou actually start losing power because the pipe is too big.. right?
x pipe or h pipe?
