Default Play In Wheel...

So when turning my steering wheel there is a little bit of play in the steering wheel, it also pulls a little bit to the right.

Any ideas at whats loose or going bad in my steering?

It's your steering shaft my 1995 i just bought has the same problem... to be sure, take a wrench grab hold of the steering shaft right before the rack & pinion in the engine bay to hold the shaft tight, have a friend move the steering wheel back and forth slightly and you can see where the play in the shaft is.

There are some kits you can buy to have a straight racing shaft from your rack to your steering wheel, but they are like $250. I just bought one of ebay... i think theres one left, i would recommend it. Its from the 2003-2004 cobra, so it'll be pretty tight steering.

Heres the Cobra Shaft, (will fit any GT or Cobra from 94-04) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...QQcmdZViewItem

If you want as tight steering as you can get, heres a solid racing shaft. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994-...QQcmdZViewItem

To install these, you have to take off your rack & pinion which is only like 2 bolts, pull it back alittle to give room for the shaft to slide out after you loosen the shaft knuckle bolts in the engine bay, and under your steering wheel near the brake peddle
