What all vehicles & year have a 5.0 HO similar to my 89 GT's? My oil pump shaft twisted into two pieces, so I need to know what engine donors I have to put my good parts into. I'm pretty sure this is a no but I may as well ask anyway. Will the 5.0HO parts work in a 5.0 since the HO is roller? (keep in mind what could have went bad, rod bearings, bent rod, cam, valves/rockers, ect...)

Any 302 oil pump shaft that is 1/4" should work. Where the little flange is located on the shaft may differ in the years but when I put my motor together for my Bronco, twice, all three shafts were the same. Now I could be absolutely wrong because I've never had a HO motor apart and it could have the 351 size shaft of 5/16". But I know all other 302s are 1/4".

I'm getting a new oil pump. I'm asking what cars had the same 302 in case I need parts that may have been damaged from lack of oil (crank, rods, ect...). As in I may need a donor engine for those parts IF they got messed up.

Those are the obvious ones. Are there any other cars that had the exact same engine other than the 87 - 93 v8 mustangs.
