yeah I was wrong about the manifold

I do think that it is blocked on the driver's side though

Does a 302 coolant system work like this?

Dude, first of all, you need a thermostat because if you don't the coolant just runs through the hot motor and never gets a chance to chill out in the radiator with air flowing over it. Get a 180 degree for that. Have you changed your timing... I moved mine up on my stock stang I had a few years ago from stock to 15 degrees. The average temp went up approximately 20-25 degrees.

Also, on the intake... when you are installing the lower intake, you typically have to trim the gasket where the coolant passages are. They make the same gasket work somewhat universally for several different intakes, and setups, but there is usually trimming required. Go ahead and try those things if you havent'y already. Then I would bypass the heater core. Also, I do not know what kind of effect this will have on the tmep of the motor, but there is a coolant temp sensor on one of the two black rails that go from the front of your motor to your heater core. Maybe the sensor is bad???? Do you have the belt rotating in the correct direction??? It is most likely a reverse rotation w/p if it is a stock 5.0. Make sure it is rotating the opposite of everything else. That's about all I can think of for now. Good luck man.

Listen I appreciate the help, but I have a blockage there's no way around it, I just need to figure out how the coolant system is routed so I can try to ram the clot out with something

Is the rad getting hot?

Did you try putting a garden hose in the top and running it? Seeing if water comes out of the pump?

Ok let's recap since you guys are reading everything. I really do appreciate the help, but it's pointless for you to repost something that has already been done.

The car has a blockage in driver's side coolant passage(s). Waterpump works, correct model, belt goes the right way. I have a brand new Jegs aluminum radiator in it. New Upper and Lower radiator hoses. Lower hose has the spring. Heater core has been bypassed. Gaskets fit like they should also.

I need to figure out how to clean out the clog
