Gotta respect those Turbocharged I-6 in those Supras & Skylines, only thing is for the money it costs to even buy a nice TT supra, you can buy a 83-95 mustang, swap a 408 in it, throw a TT kit on it and some suspension and tranny upgrades and smoke that supra, but you better be in a sn95 if your planning on going 150... i don't doubt that supra is 800hp as that is fairly common. i do doubt that it's a 9 sec supra because that's rare. there are many supra's that make a lot of power but run 12 sec 1/4 miles. mostly because supra's dyno graphs look like mount everast and they're tough to hook. an 800hp supra usually only makes that power for 1000rpms or so...that's why a car that makes 500+whp from 3500-6500rpms will beat a supra that make 400whp from 5000-6500rpm and 800rwp at 7000rpms. power under the curve wins
regardless very nice ride
btw...my stang did 138mph in the 1/4 about 150whp ago with only 2 passes (no cage = parked) we'll see how it does next year after a proper cage and possibly some supension changes (right now i have a full kenny brown setup designed for track racing and handling...not the best for drag but it's still good and it handles amazingly...especially for a fox)
regardless very nice ride
