Its a notch, and its ran a 12.5 in the 1/5 last time i ran it (About 1 1/2yrs ago) But that was just with slicks and some 4 banger springs. Now ive got full suspension under it, its best run in the 1/8th was a 7.53 @ 93mph. Thats shifting the hell out of it.
Right now im working on trying to piece together a turbo kit on it with a MP T70 [sm=lildevil.gif] Im thinking that will kick it in the *** a little better than what i got now.

m stands for "modified"
m stands for "modified"
I personally don't like the 351M because parts cost more to modify and it's harder to find parts for them. Do you know if that motor is the 2v or the 4v?

351m are 351 cleveland block with 400 heads. they are crap. Very heavy, little aftermarket also. not to mention they are huge and gaudy and imo are horrible looking motors. Stick with windsor!

Not to be an *******, but thats wrong.
The 351C is a performance engine, its a badass screamer with the 4V heads, they're overly engineered and not much for the street. They're are two versions, both use the same block, there are the 2V (small ports, open chambers) then there are the monsterous 4V (Huge ports and closed or open chambers depending on the year). The 351C has a small block bellhousing bolt pattern.
The 351M and 400M are variants of the 351C block. They're truck engines. Ford did away with the 390 and replaced it with the 351M and 400M, the 351M is basically a 351C but the blocks are different and they used the 2V heads. The 400M is simply a longer stroked 351M, IMO, the 400M is a great offroad engine, makes boat loads of torque with its 4inch bore and 4inch stroke. But other than that, the 'M' series engines are kinda boat anchors.

Whats it mean if the heads are 2v or 4v? I would think valves but that doesn't seem right at all.

No, dont get that confused, it has nothing to do with how many valves it has. Its the code name for the type of heads it has.
Alright, the 4V heads, they're huge ports, i mean like 2 X 2 1/2 inchs huge. They're monsterous ports on these heads. They came in open chamber and closed chamber versions, but usually you have to stroke the engine to a 408+ or spin it to 7,000rpm+ to get the air to flow through the huge ports. Not to feasable for the street.
The 2V heads are more streetable, they're smaller ports, they're obviously the better street head. All of these heads are open chamber heads, at least the heads produced in the US, in Australia, they had the "aussie heads" as they're called, they have the smaller ports with closed combustion chamber for more compression.
