Default Has anyone had this problem

I thought it was my water pump at fist so I changed it. The car has 140000 miles on it. It wasn't that so I replaced the alternator it wasn't that. Then I manually turned the crank without the belt on there, that's when I found out what was wrong with the car. My water pump pulley was touching my harmonic balancer. But not the whole time just at a certain point. Has anyone had this problem before. i was told also that there might be a crack in my crank. please help me out. I haven't driven my car in over 8 weeks and I'm going nuts. Everyone is telling to sell my car but I can't I've wanted this car since I've been 16. I've had it for 5 yrs and I like driving it everyday. Its like driving it for the fist time every time I get into it. The old water pump pulley is a mac I don't know if that helps. Thanks for the help Its a 95 GT 5spd

you either have a broken harmonic balancer or your crank is snapped. does the car crank nicely w/ the belt off?

well, if you replaced the water pump, and the car runs fine w/ out the belt, then something must be wrong w/ the water pump pulley
