storing the 'stang for the winter
well, its that time of year. the insurance on the mustang is up so i'm going to put 'er in storage for the winter. do you guys have any tips on what I should do to store it? I was just going to put it up on floor jacks and put a bottle of sta-bil in it, will that be sufficient to store it for six months? Or should i do more?

just drive it down here to georgia, i can take really good care of it lol. if i was you i'd crank it up every now and then, but thats just what i've heard from folks. if i had a stang i wouldn't be able to not drive it for 6 months, but i wouldn't have to worry about that lol.

lol yeah good idea about giving you my car for the winter guys, but no thanks! yeah it sucks not being able to drive it in the winter (well, i could but maine winters tend to ruin a car). but thanks for the tip on the battery, i'll do that. i'll be putting more parts into it as i get the extra money so i'm sure it will be started now and then anyway.

I im gona cover it from jan-march about 3-4 months becuase thats when winter and road salt gets the worse down here in maryland
Im prolly just gona buy a nice car cover, change my coolant to 40/60%, do a oil change, and take the battery out...

dont think you need to start it once a week, but once month would be a good idea.
you can put flat spots on the crank bearing if let it sit too long and rust can develope on the cylinder walls.
