Cleaning Oil From Exhaust Pipes?

Cleaning Oil From Exhaust Pipes?
When I bought my 86 GT it had a lot of dry rotted gaskets to which I have replaced the Throttle body, valve cover upper to lower manifold and just yesterday the Oil Pan gaskets. When I had the car on the lift for the oil pan gasket replacement I noticed that all into my exhaust pipes I have oil on the walls of the pipes. Is there a specific way that I can go about cleaning them out and or flushing the mufflers out, which im sure have oil caked in them also at this point. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

i guess you could let it burn off....be real smokey for awhile but it should cause a problem...might clog the cats a bit if you still have em...and it might have ruined the cats anyways ot O2 sensors
