Maybe I'm the only one out there... but I never have had problems with my powerdyne on my 5.0.

Yep -- had a few cars with the old school Paxton 6# on them and they're good forever -- provided you don't forget to put fluid in them and kill the bearings & front seal. I've seen that happen twice (not me)!

I would have to agree with FastLane.
You could have screwed something up when you installed your Powerdyne.
40 runs at the track and 10's of thousand of miles later and my Powerdyne is still running strong.

My 9psi kit came on the car when I purchased it used. The previous owner (a mechanic) had it two years. I had it rebuilt with ceramic bearings (preventative maintenance) and now run an 11 psi pulley without any problems and lots of dyno pulls, etc.
I would lean towards the fact that your powerdyne ate something it wasn't supposed to.
That being said, I am looking at twin turbos... since my bud has one and it kicks ***!! You can just get more boost with turbos.
