early model block

the dipstick goes into the block on the 5.0 im trying to come up with a plan ive got a 1970's 302 running with a tranny in a car im not do anything with. but what do i do with the dipstick i gotta have one its going in to the timing cover? anyone running an early block? i might just buy a lincoln mark7 and swap everything as soon as i find a notch

theres a 351w certain year with aoil dipstick in side of oil pan..get the plate onside of oil pan and weld it in side of 5.0 oil pan and can chaeck oil in pan right..
