Default ok i'll try this again/rebuilt carb still popping

yeah it's a bronco,but hey it's a ford.

anyways...problem was if you give it alot of gas it bucks/pops

if you feed it no problem...that i know of 80mph was fast enough in this thing...

i have new plugs/wires/coil/cap/rotor. just rebuilt carb and cleaned it..it has a new fuel filter also...

timing has never been messed with...why?...it's seized up lol!..

my question is what about that evap thing on the dizzy?...i unplugged it to see what it would do,and it kinda did the same thing, but instantly...any help will be appreciated

eaither lean or a timing issue. kind of sounds like the distributer is not advancing.

The carb has an accelerator pump that richens the engine during the first seconds of accelerating, untill the part throttle circut can come in.

i cleaned it pretty good no soaking though...i accel pump got replaced twice..two months ago when i seen it leaking then yesterday when rebuilding it.

Bernie, it's all coming through the carb never out the exhaust..this is all 79...the evap thing looks like a egr to me in the front of dizzy...i unplugged the vac line from it going to carb, and it appeared to be doing the same thing when flooring, but immediately.

damn i hate to take this to a shop,but i guess i'll have to..$$$$$.

is it a 79 bronco??? 351m or a 400?.... it deffanitly sounds like you distributor isnt advanceing.. i would replace the vacum advace thing.. if i remmeber you pop the cap off and then there is 2 philips head screws that hold it on.. i think they are pretty cheaply priced too.
