whats the big difference between a 70 mm maf and a 70 mm for cold tuning and a regular one?

I haven't been able to find much detailed info on this myself...

But what it comes down to is the density of air will change as the temperature of the air changes (thus the reason for wanting cooler air).

From what I am guessing, the 'cold air tuned' MAF units shift the output scale down to compensate for the cooler air entering the engine.

I am not sure how big of a difference it would make though.
