To those with SN95 front spindle conversion: Use SN95 ball joints?
Hello all
Getting ready to upgrade to 5lug wheels and I was wondering if anybody pressed in SN95 balljoints instead of doing the "spacer" or washer thing... I like the idea of going ahead and changing out the balljoint to the correct unit, not to mention the fact that i'm sure they need replaced anyway. Was going to do this and upgrade the bushings to energy or some other poly unit.
Thanks

Is this something that I need to take to a machine shop to get "pressed" in ? And how do I remove the control arm bushings. Thanks.

Well, the Weld Drag lites I have DO NOT fit with out a spacer up front.
As for the Ball Joint; I have done this conversion twice, and everytime I use the SN95 ball Joint, the front end looks higher up than the rear. UNTIL I used the Steeda X2 Ball Joint. You can go get your self a Ball Joint removal/installation kit from Harbor freight.
Since you are already messing with the Ball Joint; if you plan on lowering your car, this helps retain proper suspension geometry. (Steeda X2)
