i think my friends car has about 270hp.. the reason im asking this is because i am looking at buying this mustang.. and my friend and i have been discussing about who will win..

Your budy has an LS1 powered Firebird, they made about 350hp or 270-290rwhp.
it will be a good race but you should be able to take him with that set-up
that should be making right at 300rwhp+
he'll be a little faster on the top end, but you should take him off the line pretty good.
