Which would you buy?

Which would you buy?
I'm looking for a daily driver... so big time performance isn't really being considered right now. Since I know the 95 GT was 5.0 and the 96 GT was 4.6, which one would you choose? Say if they both had close to the same mileage according to their years, and the price was fairly close as well. The only thing that I do to them if it didn't already have this done, would be to add a good exhaust system for good sound. Oh, and I would want it to be manual as well. So what do you think is a better buy?

I am going to say go with the 96 GT. If you want the power, down the road you could do a PI swap. The 4.6 make decent power with the PI swap. And I just wanted to be different and say something else.

Then why not just buy a PI (performance improved) mustang?
if your going to get a 4.6 get a 99-04

I don't know, he just asked about the 96 GT? If I was going to go 4.6 it would be the 99-04.

Yeah i know. but you have to figure he is going to spend a lot just converting it.

GoldenEagle, are you just after this body style or is it because of the money. If it is the money, You would be better off getting a 87-93 for the 5.0 and a 99-04 for the 4.6 motor. If it is the body style that you are after, your best bet is going to be a cobra. Just my 2 bits. Power is really hurtin in this body style with the 4.6's and I believe the computers give people trouble with the 5.0's. Somebody on here can better help you.
