Default HELP WITH EXHAUST REMOVAL

i'm right in the middle of removing my entire old exhaust... i cut the cat back out... now i'm sitting here looking under the car at the stock H pipe. What the heck is the little tube that runs up along the H to the headers? Its connected to a whole bunch of other tubeing... what do i do?

it should be clamped on.. remove the clamp

it runs to the air check valve which goes to the air pump and somewhere around the intake near the firewall

They're connected right to the midpipe H, on both sides

Torches can fix everything, just take it into consideration.

i cut that little clamp...

i am so stuck right now, and have questions...

I cant loosen the midpipe bolts to the headers, they are rusted to hell. I dont know what to do. Could i possibly cut the pipe right before the cat on each side, leaving one cat up to the headers, then try and remove the headers and just pull that cat that is still connected through?

Like he said...a torch or a grinder fixes everything when working with exhaust. Cut the nut or the head off of the bolt and knock it out with a hammer and a tap if you can.

try to heat up the bolts on the header to h pipe ..... mine were stuck like that and soon as we heated them up a good bit they either snapped or came right loose
