Default drag or lowering springs???

I want the most out of my car but I also want it to look good. Sometime in the upcoming month I'm going to be ordering the UPR control arms, some type of springs and probably Lakewood drag shocks and struts. I want the most straight line performance out of my car but I kind of dislike the 4x4 look. If you guys had to choose between drag springs or lowering springs, what would it be? I know that drag springs will either keep it at stock heigth or make it higher but will result in better 1/4 mile times, and lowering springs will make it look cooler and enhance my cornering abilities but they'll hinder my 1/4 times (from what I've heard). Help me make a decision guys!

sounds like you need to decide if you want to go as fast as possible in a straight line or carve the roads, they are two completely different suspension setups, you cant maximize one with out hurting the other.... u need to choose what you want to do, personally a street setup is more useful and still provides decent launches...jmo

7Up is right, I have a comprimise on my car, Strange struts, Lakewood 50/50 rear shocks, Steeda uppers, UPR lowers, and Eibach Pro springs. I have high 1.60 sixty foots and it still is at the ride heigth I like.

Go with lowering springs in the rear and cut drag springs in the front. buddy of mine has cut high 1.4s with that setup in a high 11 second car on DRs. I run Moroso Trick fronts cut 1 1/2 coils and stock GT rears. Ride height is nice.

A street pimp will roll on lowered coils. Strait line knuckle heads will understeer on skinnys.

You will definately be happier with the lowering springs. You've got people who are pulling off sub 1.8 60' times with these springs.

Eibach makes the sportlines. I have heard nothing but good from Eibach. That's primarily the reason that I'm going to use their springs. Now I just need to decide what springs I want, any suggestions?
